What is the Creighton Model?
The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System works hand-in- hand with NaProTechnology. The Creighton Model Practitioner teaches women/couples how to chart their cycles in order to pinpoint their fertile and infertile days while teaching medical biomarkers that may indicate certain health conditions. The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System is a standardized observational method to assist couples and women to chart their biomarkers, which are essential in monitoring their fertility. It empowers women to better understand their procreative and gynecological health for total women’s healthcare.
How to learn the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System
Initial entrance into the program begins with a group or individual Introductory Session to the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. As your Practitioner, I will work together with the woman or couple as a team to help in understanding their fertility.
The Introductory Session gives general information about the system to aid in understanding basic charting instructions. Husbands are encouraged to attend the Introductory Session to make this a shared system between the spouses. The teaching of the method takes place at the individual, private follow-ups so that the woman or couples gain quick confidence in the method and in their individual charting.
The follow-up schedule is arranged on an every-two week appointment schedule for the first four sessions, which moves to a month basis until confident. After our 5th meeting, the follow-ups are schedule every 3 months for quick chart review and maintenance.
